The "400-Mile" name for these bicycling shorts and bibs comes from product testing consisting of 400 miles over 4 days. The logic was that many shorts feel fine for 100+ mile rides, but the real question is how the saddle feels when getting back on the bike the next morning for another 100 miles...and the next morning.

The 14mm 400-Mile Pad is sewn into the short, rather than on top, allowing it to stretch more and float, which means it can be used as a race piece in triathlon. On the bike, the pad stretches with the short and follows the skin's movement with every pedal stroke, eliminating the friction that can cause irritation or rashes.

The 13-panel bib short is made of Forza Compressor fabric, ensuring a perfect fit and targeted muscle support. Liquid Mesh bibs straps keep the wearer cool. The bibs come up higher on the sides than other brands, covering and tucking in the obliques and abdomen, providing a slimmer appearance and nice midsection support.

Curvilinear seamlines and contrast flatstitch highlight the panel construction, creating an attractive appearance and extreme durability. The 3-inch Mobius Comfort Compression leg bands keep the shorts in place without excess squeezing.

Three pockets - one on each outer thigh and one center back - fit cell phones, smart phones, fuel packets, and most sunglasses.

The Forza Compressor fabric lifts and supports muscles to dampen vibration caused by dynamic flexion and extension, as well as isometric flex during exercise. Proprietary articulated stitching techniques maximize comfort and fit while minimizing constriction and drag.
